These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of OpenSeatz’s event ticketing platform and services ("Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to comply with these Terms.

User Roles and Eligibility

• User/Attendee: Individuals who browse or purchase tickets via OpenSeatz. Must be legally competent.
• Event Organizer: Persons or entities who create and manage events on OpenSeatz and are responsible for event accuracy and compliance.
• Event Admin: Individuals managing multiple Event Organizers and overseeing their organizations.
• Event Coordinator: Authorized personnel who verify tickets using the Seatz Scan app during events.

Account Registration

You must provide accurate information during registration and maintain your account security. You are responsible for all activities on your account.

Event Posting and Organizer Responsibilities

By submitting an event, you confirm that you:

• Have read, understood, and accepted these Terms, including the Event Organizer Agreement.
• Are responsible for all event information accuracy, legality, ticket pricing, refunds, cancellations, and taxes.
• Grant OpenSeatz a license to display your event content on the platform.
• Understand failure to comply with these Terms may result in event removal or account suspension.

Ticket Purchases and Use

• Ticket purchases are subject to the Event Organizer’s terms and refund policies.
• Tickets are for personal use only and may not be resold unless authorized.
• Event Coordinators verify ticket validity using the Seatz Scan app, and their decision is final.

Fees and Payments

• Ticket prices and fees are set by Event Organizers.
• Payments are securely processed through third-party providers.
• Organizers may be charged fees according to their service agreement with OpenSeatz.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
• Misrepresent identity, event details, or ticket ownership.
• Attempt unauthorized access or disrupt Services.
• Abuse ticket scanning or share unauthorized tickets.

Violations may result in suspension, termination, or legal action.

Intellectual Property

OpenSeatz and its content are protected by intellectual property laws. Event Organizers grant us a license to use event-related content for platform operation and promotion.

Privacy and Data Protection

Use of the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy. Event Coordinators must handle attendee data responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws.

Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties. OpenSeatz is not liable for damages related to app use, event quality, or ticket validity beyond the amounts paid to OpenSeatz in the past 12 months.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify OpenSeatz against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

Termination

OpenSeatz may suspend or terminate your account for violations or harmful conduct. Users may close accounts by contacting support.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after updates means you accept the changes.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Hampshire, USA. Disputes will be resolved in courts located there.
